GroupCPO Talent Search Database — Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms before requesting candidate details. By clicking "Request More Information" on any candidate profile, you ("the Client") agree to the terms below, which govern your use of the GroupCPO Talent Search Database and the conditions under which a fee becomes payable if you hire a candidate introduced through it.
These terms are separate from, and additional to, any employment offer, contract, or agreement you enter into directly with a candidate at the time of hire. They govern only your relationship with GroupCPO as the source of the introduction.
1. How the Service Works
-
GroupCPO's Talent Search Database allows you to browse anonymized or partially masked candidate profiles.
-
When you find a candidate you're interested in, you may click "Request More Information" to request their identifiable details (full name, contact information, CV/resume, and related background).
-
Once you submit that request, GroupCPO will release the candidate's identifiable information to you. At that moment, this candidate becomes a Introduced Candidate under these terms, and the fee conditions in Section 2 apply.
2. Introduction Fee — When You Pay
A one-time, flat introduction fee of US $5,000 becomes payable to GroupCPO if you (or any affiliated company, subsidiary, or related hiring entity) hire an Introduced Candidate, in any capacity (full-time, part-time, contract, fractional, or advisory) within the applicable window below:
-
Standard window: 6 months from the date GroupCPO released the candidate's identifiable information to you.
-
Extended window: 12 months from that same date, if the candidate was interviewed or otherwise substantively engaged by you (e.g., screening call, formal interview, assessment, or reference check) at any point during the initial 6 month window.
The fee is triggered by the hire itself, regardless of how the final engagement came about; whether you hired the candidate directly, through another recruiter or agency, or the candidate was reintroduced to you through a different channel. If GroupCPO first introduced the candidate to you, the fee applies.
3. What Counts as a "Hire"
A hire includes any of the following, entered into within the applicable window:
-
An employment offer accepted by the candidate, whether full-time or part-time
-
A contractor, consulting, freelance, interim, or fractional engagement
-
An advisory, board, or similar ongoing engagement
-
Hiring by any parent, subsidiary, or affiliated entity of the Client
4. Payment Terms
-
The introduction fee is a flat fee, it does not scale with the candidate's salary or contract value.
-
Payment is due within 14 days of the hire date (offer acceptance or engagement start, whichever is earlier).
-
You agree to notify GroupCPO promptly if you hire, or begin engaging, an Introduced Candidate. GroupCPO reserves the right to follow up periodically to confirm hiring status of any Introduced Candidate within the applicable window.
-
The introduction fee is separate from, and not a substitute for, any additional commercial terms you may separately negotiate with GroupCPO for search, retained, or contingency recruitment services.
5. No Circumvention
You agree not to share an Introduced Candidate's identifiable information with any third party (including other hiring managers, affiliated companies, or third-party recruiters) in a way intended to avoid or reduce the fee owed under these terms. Doing so does not relieve you of payment if a hire results.
6. Confidentiality & Data Handling
-
Candidate information released to you is confidential and provided solely to evaluate that candidate for a genuine hiring opportunity. It may not be published, resold, or redistributed.
-
GroupCPO handles candidate data in accordance with applicable data protection law. By requesting candidate details, you agree to handle that data responsibly, securely, and only for legitimate hiring evaluation purposes.
7. No Guarantee
Requesting a candidate's information does not guarantee their availability, interest, or suitability for your role. GroupCPO makes reasonable efforts to keep candidate profiles current but does not warrant that any candidate remains actively seeking opportunities at the time of your request.
8. Relationship to Your Hiring Contract
These terms govern only the introduction fee owed to GroupCPO. They are entirely separate from any employment agreement, offer letter, or contract you enter into with the candidate directly, GroupCPO is not a party to that agreement and assumes no obligations or liabilities under it.
9. Acceptance
By submitting a request for candidate details through the Talent Search Database, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of your organization.
